I just want to put it out there I am having rough month. I am on edge so I might be jumping to a conclusion but everything that could go wrong has been going wrong.

I just bought Icewind Dale 2 from GOG. Everything went fine but then I went to my account and all I have is a picture of the game. No matter how many times I click on it nothing happens. So, I paid ten dollars for a picture of Icewind Dale 2? Its not the money but the principle. What is the deal did they scam me?

Have you... enabled javascript and are you using an up to date browser? I have bought over 10 games there and haven't experienced any problems so far.

How the hell are you supposed to actually get the game. I went to my account. Tried clickling on the game and nothing happens. Over and over again.

I'm sure they have customer support. Try emailing them about your issue. It is probably something simple...

I just used them for the first time to purchase Inquisitor. Do you have gog.com downloader mode turned on? If so, turn it off. You have to download a separate app for that to work.

It wasn't downloading for me either initially. I turned off their downloader option and everything went smoothly afterwards. I just downloaded using my browser's built in downloading functionality.

To answer the initial question, no, GOG is most certainly not a scam. Just contact their tech support and they should help you out.

Thanks to GOG I now have the complete D&D suite. Would have been a pain to try to find them otherwise. :)

Had the same problem with one browser, switched to Google chrome, no issues.

As others have said, contact their cust support, they have always been good at getting back to me when I have questions.
