[IMG] Okay, havent actually gotten around to playing BG for quite some time so I had a go at it yesterday. I had intensions of creating an entire party of custom charaters, including different in game models (a deathknight, a demilich, a sirine and a mind flayer).

Now, everything went peachy up until the part where I put armour on the characters after changing their appearance. On the old PC (with XP), I didnt have an issue with this. However, everytime I put a bit of armour on them, they revert back to the original appearance.

Anyone had the same issue and know how to fix it?

    Cheers

I don't know about actually fixing the problem itself, but you could change the models back to what you want with CTRL + 6/7 if you have the CLUA console enabled.

Do you have ease of use or tweaks mods installed? BG2 Tweaks has a component to auto-change avatar for changing armor and robes. Uninstall it and try again.

EDIT:aaah I did not notice that I was in the last page of our sacred forum! I wouldn't have used defiling necromancy if I had been aware!
