I was thinking to myself after the "quest" inside the Guarded Compound in the Temple Districts :hmm: ... when we first enter the place...Sion appears and we have the option in the dialog window to say something about "I've heard you're dealing with slavery...I'm going to stop it". I don't remember of having heard about him in the game...I was thinking on those two "Ruffians" in the Slums that attack you near the Copper Coronet...but they speak something about "Mr.F"...nothing with "Sion"...
Did I miss something about the game :sosad: ???

I don't recall ever seeing that dialogue option either. The only reference to the Guarded Compound I am aware of, and you actually have to pay attention in order to spot it, is on a document you find in Isaea Roenall's quarters while gathering evidence to expose him.

I wonder though... :hmm: Would that dialogue show up while gathering the evidence against Isaea but not yet exposed? Maybe it's a timing thing.

You will hear about him when you do the quest to expose Roenall, the document can be pickpocket from a guard in Sea's Bounty Inn (Dock district)

    Hope this help

When the 2 'ruffians' in the slums talked about 'Mr. F' I guessed abit later that they might have meant Fiirkrag (sp?) thats the only thing I can think of :s

Oh and BTW i never had that dialogue option  :(

Not entirely sure about this, but I think the guarded compound should have been part of the slavers quest, but somehow dropped out. The dialog line would then have to have slipped through the testing. I might be wrong though...

Don't worry, it's being modded as we speak. Icelus is currently working on a mod to include a lot of the original quests that were cut by Bioware due to time limits. These include a lost Haer'Dalis romance, a Minsc-loses-Boo quest, and the original ties between the guarded compound, slavers and Twisted Rune.

Incidentally, Arnel's Nalia romance ties the guarded compound, slavers, and Twisted Rune with Isaea Roenall.

[IMG] I always wanted to find a mod that implemented the lost quests! Minsc loses Boo? whee! well... no, I just like the idea of extra quests...

The Ruffians are just drunks, most thugs are hired by some bigger thug somewhere.

And I just tend to break in the compound loot it, kick butt, go away again. Then do Twisted Rune, Shalangar says something baout it, thanking you for ridding someone in the compound.

Maybe that's the answer...I was just finishing that question before going to the Guarded Compound!

I don't remember of having this kind of speech on my later "visits" to Shangalar...something that's surely to paid attention in.

Expanded Minsc Mod will include some stuff about those quests too (and I hope to integrate it in with Icelus's stuff).
