Well, I'm thinking of setting up a MiniBB that is supposed to be easy to use and, like the name says; "minimalistic." (That would fit quite nicely to my site.)

The question is: I currently have a 40 MB limit of HDD space (even though that can be negotiated) at my uni's server, and I have a unlimited download/upload/bandwidth access but no admin rights; can I set up the board alone Or do I need to contact the admin? How big job is it?

Any other advices? It would be mainly just to post stories, edits, comments and pictures. :hmm:

As for how big a job, depends on the situation.

I cannot get that page to work at all, although my guess would be that you need an SQL database of some sort, meaning you couldn't set the thing up at all.

That's not a problem; my uni has "some" version of them installed and running.

Sorry, it was minibb.net -NOT .com. Edited.
