    I hear James Doolin, who played Chief Engineer Scott on Star trek passed today. He joins "Bones" where no man has gone before. I really enjoyed the old show.

    I remember my parents telling me when actors died and not really feeling anything except 'thats sad but it doesnt have any great effect on me'. Lately though I have heard of several actors passing away and it makes me realise how they must have felt :( Rest in peace

    I can't believe that the news story said he was most famous for responding to the command "Beam me up, Scotty" I was under the impression that they never actually said that.

    My friend had this shirt that said, "Beam me up, Scotty. There are no intelligent lifeforms here." Sigh. Scotty has finally been beamed up after giving it everything he's got.
