    For CPUs? No. Not for other things, either, come to think of it.

    But if this is AMD's new CPU and it's competitive with Intel, that's good news for sure.

    I doubt it, Intel has never gone into one before, and I don't think they will now.

    But it looks like I might be in need of one of these Ryzen sooner rather than later. PC wouldn't start up this morning and I couldn't even get into the bios / UEFI. It started up again tonight, so I have some hope that it will hold out for another month or two, until the Ryzen are available (and benchmarked against some Intel CPUs).

    The release of the 6 cores is later. Will I fail my willsave and buy a 8 core which is overkill for what I do with it. Or will i make my save and wait for the 6 core. I have a day off during the release date.
