Regarding the Restoration Pack and the Areas Explored Add-on...There is a file AR0400.bcs which is duplicated. In the restoration pack it is a section of script to check for FFG's presence. In the Areas Explored pack...it explores the area.

    Which one do I install?

Also in the Restoration Pack, there are 3 files. 2 files have a dialog.tlk file...which one do I install?

    Cheers

You need both dialog.tlk files - there are 2 because in non-English versions some stuff changes depending on gender. As for the script, I'd put in the one from the Restoration Pack.

A Ps:T tweak pack which contains a similarly-working component is in the works, so you could use that when it's done (which will play nicely with the Restoration stuff).
