Are you sure all of these (Dradeel aside) are the SAME NPCs?

I mean do they have the same race, class etc.?

    Who are they?

Also - Faldorn is a PLAYABLE NPC and therefore has no part in this topic.

Dradeel is definitely the same NPC by his werewolf comments, and Carbos and Shank are the same even though they can't be since you killed them. :p I find it hard to believe that Wanev is, though, and I don't remember Callahan (unless he was one of the mages on the Ice Island).

Ahh, in all my experiences Faldorn was playable in BG1, but not BG2, so I assumed you meant not playable in BG2.

Is Neb (in BG2), the one in the Bridge District?

    Hareiashan - BG1: A mage in the Cloakwood mines, BG2: A vampire in Bodhi's lair. :)

    @ Artechocke:

Hmmm...just finished BG1 a few days ago, and don't remember a Wanev from that quest. Where does he appear?

    @ Fel:

Callahan chats with you about Mendez before and after you go to Werewolf Island.

Hmm, I appear to have made a mistake on the Wanev issue, I could swear spellhold had the insane mage that gave the Helm of Balduran mission, but it was a dude named Degrodel - I don't recall if that was one of the Spellhold inmates, but I don't think so. My bad.

Callahan is definately the same guy. In BG1, Ulgoth's Beard, sometimes he'll approach you and tell you a little about Mendez before you go off to Balduran's Island (on the docks outside of Mendel's house). In BG2 in Brynlaw, he's the smuggler you can hire to help a prostitute and her brother escape, if you speak to him, a dialog option comes up along the lines of, "didn't you warn me about Mendez in Ulgoth's Beard?"
