    1) Richard Gere is officially the most irritating actor after Ben Afleck.
    2) My poor graphics card is getting a new replacement for christmas, the 256mb geforce 7600gt. The old one doesn't run any of the harder porn, like NWN2, with all the extra eyecandy on.

Totally agree with how irritating Richard Gere is.

Except that... well, there's this one movie from the 80s. Power, directed by Sidney Lumet. Great movie, with an incredibly good performance by Richard Gere (when I saw him I stared at the screen and asked, "is this really Richard Gere?"). His best acting job IMO.

What a pretty green mobo I got for my brother. It looks great with the red graphics card and two aluminium heatsinks with black frames (CPU and Northbridge). I almost want to buy him a case with a window.

You may want to install Vista for DX10 games if you have a card that supports it and you for some reason have two licenses, like XP and Vista. Then you can run two systems with a boot menu. There's quite a lot of visual difference between DX10 and DX9, at least according to what screenshots graphics card manufacturers boast.

    So true.

I am not in any hurry to install Windows Virus--er Vista on my computer. If I ever save up enough money for a notebook, I'll look at ones without Vista...

Good luck finding one. It's been quite a while since I last saw a non-Vista laptop.

Finding a laptop without Bill's crap was even harder...

You should send your gripe to M$ while they still have Vista's SP1 in beta phase. Or go with the dual-boot method.

In other news...we got the first heavy snow last night. About 6-7" of that white stuff. And since my parents are out of town, I have to shovel their sidewalk so they don't get a citation... :bad: :rolling:

I custom built my PC specifically to avoid Vista. Saved me a fair bit of money, too.

I figured out the writer's strike causing no new tv shows is why my internal clock is off.

My colleague bought one 2 weeks ago. They're still very common around here. All of them will have Vista or XP Pro as options. I think laptop manufacturers know where the market still is :)

Ugh, I know how you feel, I used to have that all the time when I was stressed. Eighth grade it happened 2-3 times a week. It has slowed down in the last four years, but still hits every once in a while. :bad: Sorry man.
