Because Grapes is a national icon, and I don't think he'd appreciate people ripping his clothes off...

It was grey and rainy all day... near perfect. The rain was heavy overnight while the storm landed, and lightened up to a constant drizzle for the rest of the day. The remnants should be headed up your way later this week revmaf.

Better watch it while you can. CBS changed the timeslot, so it should be canceled soon.

I ate my mashed potatos too fast and burned my throat.

whaa? I just read that they've already given the go ahead for a 3rd season?

anyway, I just saw The Last Unicorn again since I was a kid. Man, it was pretty deep and philosophical :o Kinda dragged a couple of times but I felt myself getting kinda teary-eyed at the end  talk about a bittersweet ending :/

Outstanding! We can meet up for a beer and trash Bush in a real H-Town bar (which is infested with Bushies). Death Rabbit, I'm sure, would join us.

Well, Kuemper does have a point - moving a show on to a different day/time is usually the 'kiss of death'; the third season may become the last one...

    Current weather report for 'town':

2°C but 20+ klick winds chill that to -3 and
"A few clouds" so it's actually shining some sun into my easterly window. :)

The pressure's on the rise so it might turn out to be a nice day...probably won't last to the end of my shift; it'll get all gloomy and cloudy by the time I want to walk home... :nolike:

EDIT: Okay, I was right - hourly forecast indicates it'll cloud over slowly and "Scattered showers" should begin around 3pm...and I'm off at four, naturally.

I dunno if I should feel vindicated my pessimism was proved correct, or grumble about having to look to my folks for a lift to and a lift from work...(I don't like to impose)

Argh! It's gonna take me all day to pack my room, I've got no-one to talk to, and I didn't sleep much at all last night so all I can think of is curling up under the duvet again.

Well...that certainly sucked. I had to perform open heart surgery on my baby. (Read: Completely dissemble my laptop to fix a problem with the heatsink/fan.)

But now she's back up, and in the recovery stages. :D

Laptops are fun, but suck big time when something goes wrong. :rolling:

I hear ya there! Replacing the motherboard in one was loads of fun...

Today is a beautiful crystal clear day here. That's normal for the day after a tropical storm.

Should I be stressed about school and do the whole "I don't wanna go" thingy or take a relaxing bath? :hmm:

Life is full of hard decisions.

Well, one of the famous Bette Davis lines was "Beulah, peel me a grape."

Stefanina, glad you got the rain. So far, none for us. OTOH I'm the only member of my extended family NOT at the beach in NC this week - it's starting out with lots of rain for them though it should be nice later.

One of my neighbors tried to bale hay and it wouldn't bale - it just crumbled to dust when the baler tried to process it. Dry, friends.

Hmm, too serious for this topic. I'll desist.
