    Yes, that is the common misconception. Here is the truth. Though since it was the French they beat, I think it's a pretty flimsy excuse to drink booze. :shake:

    Well I stand corrected :D Good thing my husband doesn't read these forums because he'd be pretty disgusted at my mistake. I did know it is a Mexican holiday however, and that most mexicans don't go to work on cinco de Mayo.

    Well, the Opera was great. It was also fun having a quiet drink with a certain girl during the interval. Younger brother was annoyed that we ditched him, but it was worth it.
