    [​IMG] The phone rings and I (stupidly) answer. It's a call for someone not in. I ask to take a message. Okay. Ten minutes later, the caller is frustrated and so am I as the lack of paper and pens/pencils. I grab the nearest handy thing (super imortant fax) and writing impliment (carpentry pencil) and take message. 20 minutes after that, I find the ****ing pencil cup and notepad hidden behind a box of tissues on a bookshelf five feet away from the ****ing phone. :toofar:

    WTF are the pencil cup and notepad behind some Kleenex on a bookshelf? 'It was cluttering up the counter,' Mom-in-law tells me with a tone of superiority. I shoot back with, 'Oh, and the 10 plants, 6 books, misc. papers, 17" tv, regular and hands-free phones, various jars and bottles for cooking and rotting tomatos aren't?!? Put the damn papers and books on the shelf where *they* belong, throw out those c***** tomatos nobody eats and put the ****ing tv in the living room where it belongs!' :flaming:

    This is the same M-i-l who believes pleats are the work of the devil. No, I'm not kidding.
