    Thanks. :)

Anyone having snow for New Year? (Sunny South Hemisphere aside :p) It's a bland, cloudy day here.

    Happy New Year, everyone!

I think we're getting some in the Northeast. Driving up to New Hampshire in the afternoon, hopefully it doesn't snow until we get there!

I think people are still playing with their Christmas presents. In which case Santa is the culprit.

Or maybe the Alleys have been blocked off by a rogue Dabus?

I guess everyone put their differences aside and quit bickering about mindless crap for the holidays. Don't worry Tal, they're almost over.... :p

No snow here. We had snow during Christmas and that was our first (official) white Christmas since 1981.

Yep, Scotland is still snowy, to no-one's great surprise. Hopefully we won't get any more today as I'm not looking forward to driving along windy backroads later tonight.

Love snow. Went around a corner at about 25 mph, lost control, and smashed into a tree. In 5 days I have rendered two trucks undriveable. Man am I good.

Well, while we appreciate your enthusiasm for wanting to get gas-guzzlers off the road, there's probably a better way that doesn't involve penalties to your driver's license. Next time, I would suggest involving one of your unsuspecting neighbors. :p

Hahaha, you always make me chuckle, Splunge. You're right though, I should have my neighbors total my cars instead of me - that way they can pay the insurance company!

Not sure if it will increase my yearly insurance - I forgot to ask when I was talking with them. For the record, the people at USAA are really helpful and nice. Best customer service I've had over the phone. I've gotten to know them quite well over the last few days :D

[IMG] I've just realized that my last Dragon Age character looks a lot like an ex of mine (if I discard facial tattoos, tan and hair colour). It's eerie that I didn't notice that before...

Snow -- hmmm. Nope. One of the several reasons I move here 20 years ago (yikes, that's scary) is the lack of weather. Drive to the snow, ski on it, and drive back. Very nice.

What this? I'm gone all of one week and RBP has only progressed by 5 pages? For shame!

Happy new year all! Mine is going to be spent in bed

Happy New Year! I'm drunk on Champagne (good stuff) and I'm going to watch Beowulf (the 1999 movie) one of the worst movies ever known to man. :hippy:

We're watching Monty Python Holy Grail

We're also discussing boys names. As I've said, we're trying for another baby. If it's a boy we've decided on Adam for a first name but need a good second name. We haven't enev thought about girls names yet, although last time we were thinking Charlotte Elizabeth.......actually, we haven't concieved yet either!

I'm quite amused by the amount of people whose birthday is allegedly today - seems like they just didn't bother filling out the form accurately. OTOH, if anyone of us is indeed celebrating their 109th birthday, then I hope you have a great day. :p
