    This is the time of year I almost reconsider this whole living in Florida thing, the weather can get to be a bit too interesting (another tropical storm out there)

    ION, I spent the day at the courthouse because I was summoned for jury duty. I didn't even make the voire dire part of the process. Not that I'm disappointed, I would not have wanted to sit through that trial.

    Speaking of the arcade, I don't have a chance at getting a high score on any of those games. :bad:

    In other news, there's a photo shoot going on in my living room right now...which under normal circumstances would be fine...however I want to watch TV. Its times like these that I wish I would have bought a TV tuner card for my computer. :doh:

    In other-other news, I just heard the new single from Metallica's new album, and I'm happy to say that it's *nothing* like St. Anger! :D The second half of the song is especially sweet. <insert head banging smiley here> :rolling:

    Gah, gotta wake up early again tomorrow. At least while I'm in my training period, I do 4 hour shifts... and I'm supposed to be on the night shift for two straight with my bro this week - I couldn't think of a better guy to train me.

    As an added boon, my coworkers and boss have made me feel right at home -- as the newest addition to the dysfunctional family. :shake:
