I am stocking up on some RPGs to provide me something to do on the computer once I complete BG series.

so far I acquired NWN, NWN 2 main expansion and Sacred.

I want to know if $10 including shipping is a good price for Rage of Mages.

I tried a demo of Rages of Mages before, and I liked it. But I never found the game on shelf so I never did buy it. It reminds me of a mix between Baldur's Gate and Warcraft... you finish one screen or one area's worth of quests, then you go to town to pick up NPC's or buy equipment, then tackle the next screen. Of course, that's just judging from the demo.

Those are nice games and maybe 1 is nicer than 2. Depends how much you have on your hand, but ten bucks isn't much. I'm surprised they still sell it like that because it's ooooold, even 2. I thought it was too old even for supermarket sales.

BTW, nothing beats Morrowind to filling your time. If you haven't played it yet, grab Fallout 1 and 2. The Might & Magic series is great if you like that kind of cRPG. Especially before 9 and preferably before 8. ;)

RoM was a very good game before but if you're more used to the games we have now you might not be able to appreciate it that much.

It's basiscally Warcraft with lots of RPG goodies.
