Questions on multi-classing and feat vs skill.

    1. One of the requirements of Blackguard is the "cleave" feat right? So if my char has a level in monk, which will gain the "cleave" feat for free, and have met all other requirements, he will be able to become a blackguard right? Or must he really put a feat in "cleave" manually, before he can become a blackguard?

    2. The feat "spring attack" and the skill "tumble" does about the same thing right?
    So is it better if I just learn the feat "spring attack" so I need not bother about the skill "tumble", which need to be taken many times?

    1: Yep, the monk doesnt have to select Cleave at levelup. BTW, taking a prestige class isnt considered multiclassing at all. It doesnt count for XP penality either.

    2: Skill Tumble effectively replaces spring attack(as it is in NwN) when it reaches 14. at every Attack of Oppurtunity(AOO) there's a DC of 15. You roll tumble skill + dexterity modifier.
    The other important difference is that every 5 ranks (not including dex.) you get an extra +1 to AC, which is simply great ;)

    1. So can I say, a fighter who meets all the requirement for blackguard, but short of only the "cleave" feat, so he just take a level in monk and hooray! Finally he can be a blackguard?

    2. Oh! So unless I have not enough skills points to put in, I go for the feat "spring attack". But if I have plenty of skills to put in, it will be better for me to pump up the tumble skill for the additional AC benefits right?
    Just want to confirm.
