Quadrone Modrons and Their Pictures

    Can anyone tell me why the description of Quadrone Modrons and their pictures always appear different? The descriptions all say they have eyes on all 6 sides, but the pictures only show them on one side.

    [​IMG] To be honest I can't remember reading they have eyes on all sides :lol: Which book is it in? Most of my sources are 3rd ed so it's not so easy to check.

    What is your source? My source, Dragon magazine #354, pg 45 says, "A creature the size of a human with a cube-shaped body marches nearby. Eyes on every side of the cube watch you as you pass..." Yet the pictures they include have only 2 eyes.

    [​IMG] That's from the Planewalkers Manual I believe, have seen the same description on several websites and have seen it when browsing through the 2e books I *do* have. I haven't read Dragon Magazine myself.
