Project IE 4K( PIE4K ) - Full 4K game upscale

    Currently the PIE4K tool has successfully upscaled all the assets for the entire BG2 game. That includes everything. Literally everything that needed to be upscaled should be upscaled. It is currently working with my branch of GemRB and also has zoom in and out which I added.

    You can either build it yourself if you want to tinker with things and upscale everything yourself, or you can download the release binary. You can try different models, or help with bug reports and new features.

    We also have a discord if you have any questions or trouble getting setup.

    Additionally if you don't want to upscale the entire BG2 game you can also use the upscale assets which are linked in the discord chat. You can find an invite for that on the PIE4K project page on github. Upscaling the entire game takes 3 to 4 hours on my system. You can also specifically target certain file types if you wanted to test things.
