Problems with Sharwyn

    Hello.

    I have following problem with one of my henchman, Sharwyn. I am currently in Port Llast, Chapter 2 and Sharwyn is standing inside Kendrack's mercenary barracks and is unselectable. I cannot talk to her because she appears to be busy. In fact, she is just standing there and calling out her battlecries for no apparent reason. I used her in this chapter for a brief while, when I exchanged her for Linu - now I'd like to pick Sharwyn again, but I can't do so. Is there any way to remedy her *foul* condition?

    I have only basic NWN without any expansions and the latest patch - 1.62. if I am not mistaken.

    I would be greatly pleased for any help you are able to provide. :)

    I actually experienced something similar in Port Llast where sometimes the people in Kendrack's mercenary barracks would become unselectable (including Aribeth). Fortunately quiting the game and reloading solved this problem for me.

    Unfortunately, for me the reloading does not seem to solve the problem. Sharwyn seems to have frozen in a combat mode for good.

    If there is someone there to actually start combat with, you could try that and see if exiting combat mode yourself will trigger her to quit as well. Perhaps you could even pick a fight with her to see if she'll quit when you run away.

    I'm not sure if that did it, but I entered the barracks with a summoned creature in tow and suddenly I could click on Sharwyn and talk. I asked her to join and she did so - but after that she again started to behave oddly, as if someone would be attacking us. Fortunately, I was able to click on her again and tell her to level up - that seemed to rid of the problem for now.

    Problem solved, though exactly how and why remains a mystery to me.
