    Hi all,
    I know this kind of thing has been done in the past but I haven't seen one like this in a while so I thought it might be a good idea.

    That, plus I really like having a cool looking desktop, so maybe looking at your screenshots might give me ideas!

    Too much illegal stuff, so I wont show any screenshots :p
    It's basically green text, black background, beatiful picture of a lake.

    Faraaz, your's *way* too colorful, I bet using your computer feels like driving a sports car :shake: , nice though.

    @Trellheim: You COULD just delete the icons temporarily or something..ah well. It sounds cool...

    In case anyone is wondering, I'm running Window Blinds v3.5...that, and a lot of wallpapers I got from various sources, after customisation to fit on my 1280x800 desktop resolution...

    Actually, if you want the hide the icons, simply right-click and unselect "Show Desktop Icons."

    Mine is on my website, but here is a quick-link to the page in question: my desktop and sources.

    Basically it's a cleaned up WinXP with WindowBlinds and clean wally. The skin in use has this neat transparency effect, so it's pretty much compatible with almost any background.

    Icons are overrated. I prefer my desktop completely empty... and with the task bar hidden. Currently, my desktop looks exactly like this.

    @ Faraaz: Touch of Glass v3 can be found from Wincustomize.com, under the section of WindowBlinds. I have hosted another transparent skin called "Dreamland", which is also good, and the necessary programs to use them.

    What I like to most is too look at people's icons on a desktop, it shows a lot about that person :p

    I always find Chev's one to be the funniest only because « Moje dokumenty » and « Mòj Komputer » sounds so... foreing and exotic. :lol:

    ^ Start the default image-editing program and use "capture screen." GIMP, I believe. Used it a few times at me uni to take screenies.
