    My, I don't seem to be able to shut up lately! At ANY rate, I would like to know if somebody here can aid me in my attempts to make a portrait, something like the Kelsey portrait, or even the ones already in the game. It would be of great use. Any ideas people?

    Remember the size!
    Use the blurring function found on some graphic editors. (Irfanwiev, Paint Shop Pro)

    Seems i can't shut up too...

    I'm afraid that little piece of information DIDN'T actually help me. I need LOTS of info, how do I get the portrait to begin with, how do I make it look BG2-ish, and so on.

    it is not really all that difficult, but you will want a calculator. Scan your image or whatever, and open it in MSpaint. When this is done, open a previous portrait for example, minsc. Look at the sizing. Move your cursor to the lower right corner and look at the co-ordinates. Then, compare it to the co-ordinates in Minsc's picture. Divide them comparitavly.

    for eg.
    Minsc = 321,423
    Photo = 321,846

    321/321 = 1.
    846/423 = 2.

    Ans * 100

    Go to image, then sketch/skew.
    leave the horizontal as it is, but make the vertical 200% (2 times higher).

    Then do the same for the smaller image. Name them something simple like BarbL and BarbS (large and small barbarian.)

    Create a folder in the BG2 folder called portraits and place them both in. You can now access them in game.

    Cheers.
