Do you use True Sight more often or True Seeing and why?

I didn't vote because I seldom use either.

p.s. That option should be included.

Whats the difference? I only use True Sight when I have Keldorn, as he gets it as part of his class.

Depends on who has an empty slot I guess.
CtFB is right, generally only Keldorn or a bard cast it.

    What's the matter Chick :p

I usually use True Sight, as it is a mage spell, and I usually have 2 or more mages in my party. The Cleric spell, True Seeing, actually has a larger affect diameter, but like I said, I usually have more mages, so I need my cleric for other things besides seeing the invisable. :rolling:

What about a thief's detect illusion ability? That's what I use most often, mostly because it's really cool to backstab through all those illusions.

Yeah, but there aren't many thieves in the game, even counting Jan :) Although when I'm a thief I tend to use it too.

Actually, usually I set the book of many spells on True Sight (or was it true seeing that it gave? never mind), when I don't have Keldorn. It's one of the good spells in it, and while I seldom dedicate a slot to TS anyway, it can be good to have at times.

I use both. It depends on who has it memorized and what they're doing. I usually cast it if I know beforehand sneakiness is involved - a certain half-dragon punking for his daddy - by those who can. Keldorn, Anomen, Jaheira and my mages. Like I said, maybe Keldorn's gonna cast his uber dispel, so Ano or someone else has to take up the slack.

I usually use the mage version, but if I have a battle cleric (Aerie) then I will have her memorize the cleric version. If I only have one cleric then my mage will cast it.
