Um...when somebody becomes a Specialist they don't get more power in casting that school of spell.

I choose Evocation. But I'm too lazy to vote.

As was just stated, the topic is favorite school, not favorite specialist.

I voted for Alteration. Time Stop, Disintigrate, Flesh to Stone, etc. Turning enemies into a squirrel is pretty cool too.

Evocation all the way! Why do so many of you like conjuration? If this game is anything like Baldurs Gate, they can't Identify!

    Conjuration sucks!
I prefer to fight my own battles, thank you very much. I don't need to summon a bunch of ogres or an elemental.

As for favorite school, I am often an invoker, as that is the most offensive mage choice. So I lose a few helpful spells, but I prefer to roleplay, not scribe every good spell out there that I will almost never use. ;)

Sorry, but I rate conjuration lowest.
(except for when I feel like fighting a Pit Fiend or Glabrezu   )

I tried playing anything but a sorcerer in the Infinity engine games that dont offer that class like BG1 and IWD.I absolutely hate anything else.Even other spell casting classes like clerics and druids dont stir up any interest.I only play as a sorcerer and I have tried many times to play BG2 and NWN as something else.I advance a bit,get bored and go back to sorcerers. They absolutely rule and they are actually very strong even at 1st level. On the other hand any spell schools that dont have Necromancy and Evocation as their opposition schools would be fine for me.

My favourite spell is Horrid Wilting, so I guess my favourite school would have to be Necromancy.

Although I love magic missiles and Fireballs!

Invocation/Evocation is my favorite. I love Chain Lightning, Spell Trigger, and Meteor Swarm.

Abjuration would be my second choice... :rolling:

[IMG] I don't use schools, But I'd say necromancy. Why? Because I like necromancers :D Other than that, They have Finger of Death, and Horrible wilting (I think). And it's a life saver when you're soloing, as you can summon hordes of the undead :)
