What game do you think has the best soundtrack? I say the Final Fantasy 3 Soundtrack , and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Playstation. Also, I love the Baldur's Gate 1 themesong.

Outlaws - the music really lifts the game from being an average FPS. Also, the Monkey Island games.

[IMG] Deus ex menu music (i don't know about the rest of the music, it crashes on my computer). But the menu music is like a redone version of the x-men theme with a more futuristic edge, very cool :D

Soulbringer action music is nice (but it's pretty outdated now). Summoner music is also nice. PST music is also nice. But...

Sea Dogs. I LOVE EVERYTHING. Including sfx. Yea, you see it right.
For those who couldn't get further in this game because of (critical) bugs, you have everything in MP3 format on the game CD available to hear and enjoy. I'm still listening to that music.

As far as soundtracks, my vote is IwD; beyond doubt or reason.

Although, there's some really good individual tracks on a whole slew of other games.

I'd have to say my overrall favourite soundtrack would have to be IWD. But as for individual songs, the romance song for Aerie in BG2 or the theme song of the supremely outdated LOTR game for SNES.

Icewind Dale, Deus Ex, and that harp music you get in all the FF games.

Any of the newer Final Fantasies (i.e 7-10). Nothing really worth listening to on PC, except maybe Torment.

Ultima Underworld. Just creepy. I later played Master of Magic, which used some of the Ultima Underworld music. It still made my skin crawl.

X-COM (the original). Atmospheric and creepy. It really added to the gaming experience.

I like all game music, I am even sad enough to listen to it OUT of the games.

I'm surprrised no-one has said pokemon from gameboy

I would like to hear the theme music from Rage of Mages as I only have the Demo, though have found a hack to get the full version :rolling:

    Game music rules!

Wheel of Time, or possibly FF3 or ChronoTrigger.

Some good tracks in the BG series, IWD and NWN too. And the Secret of Mana theme is nice as well.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Megaman x.
