    As far as I know this program is supposed to help prevent people to gain access to my computer through the internet.

    Now what I would like to know is if any of you guys have this program and could tell me if it's worth getting and perhaps could tell me a little about how it works.

    It's very useful. It blocks hundreds of IPs a day for me, although few are spy or ad IPs. For it to be effective at blocking those, the IP blocker needs to be applied to HTTP, and that left many sites failing to load. I just use it to block my university from watching me.
