    He's on the run. He urinated on German law and broke his bail conditions. I know many of you think he's a hero, I see him as no better, morally and ethically speaking, than the self appointed anti abortionists who dance on the edge of the law outside clinics. He is a pirate who puts lives and livelihoods at risk with his self righteous crap, and IMHO has no legal authority to be doing this crap. In case I didn't make it clear, I hate him and everything he stands for.

    I hope he is caught, tased, sent to (Costa Rica? Wherever Germany was going to extradite him), and then executed. Cruel, over the top, and vicious, I know, but that's what you do with pirates. You execute them.

    He's the leader of Sea Shepard -- he's featured on a show called Whale Wars. We had a thread on him a while back. He endangers the lives of Japanese whalers in an effort to save the whales and such. I understand he has strong convictions, but that doesn't give him the right to do the stuff he does. He's arrogant and dangerous.

    I didn't know he was Canadian! LKD, do something about your countryman! How can you personally allow him to get away with tarnishing the good name of Canada?!

    Though I'm sure that there are plenty of people who think he's a hero too.

    Sea Shepard is saying he fled when he found out the Japanese were making a deal to extradite him. :)

    This is obviously a reason why we need tighter whale control laws. If it wasn't so easy to find whales out in the ocean, then these nutjobs wouldn't be able to go out a terrorize these whalers.
