[IMG] No chance at all. BioWare only has the licence for the Forgotten Realms. They can't put anything else in even if they wanted to. Even the simple cameo from the Solamnian knights in SoA was a major legal headache from what I've heard.

But Aasimar are in the FR Campaign Setting... So why shouldn't it be?

But as far as I know they will only implement the 7 basic races. Other races maybe in expansions.

But by that time it's 2010...:)

[IMG] They may be in the FRCS, but WOTC doesn't need to separate PS from FR strictly, since they own both. (And especially since they more or less dumped PS, some designers fond of the setting try to implement bits of it here and there even where it's not supposed to be.) It's different with licences. You can only use what you pay for. And Aasimar are not natives of FR, let alone a standard race there.

[IMG] Of course there's nothing to stop a DM giving a different skin colour, adding the appropriate skills and presto! :) Psi could be tricky though. :(

[IMG] We could also "cobble" together the various types of elves using skills, etc. For example a high elf would have knowledge skills and/or artistry. A wild elf would have tracking and woodlore. A valley elf would have disguise. etc ...

IMHO the drow are a bit overpowered with their innate spells and magic resistance, but if the DM role-played the stigma against them properly, I supposed the positives and negative would equal out.

[IMG] Actually, Aasimar are in according to what one of the BioWare people mentioned on the boards recently. But not as a player race, as far as I know. Shouldn't be too hard to make them one, though. :heh:

WOTC must have loosened the restrictions on inclusion of some stuff with 3rd edition. (IWD2 will have Aasimar, Tieflings etc. in as well.)

Tal it says in BG2 SOA that your character could be imported in NWN. This is surprising since there are no kit's.

The most recent update concerning importing of characters from BGII is .... No. This feature has been removed from NWN since the only real features that would remain are the stats, and you could recreate those if you wish. Some of the play testers in fact did just that, without the need to import.

Heh, finally. We came to the concluion that importing would be totally pointless months ago.
