Obsidian and Neverwinter Nights 2 at A-Kon

    According to the news we've received from Brandon Smith, Obsidian will be making a guest appearance at A-Kon with Neverwinter Nights 2.

    MAKE GUEST APPEARANCE AT A-Kon in Dallas, June 9-11

    Who: Obsidian Entertainment, the prominent video game development studio currently working on the highly-anticipated Neverwinter Nights 2. Neverwinter Nights 2 is set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons® Forgotten Realms™ universe created by Wizards of the Coast. The Neverwinter Nights franchise has sold more than two million copies worldwide and features one of the largest and most active fan communities in all of gaming.

    What: An exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Neverwinter Nights 2 at this year’s A-Kon fan convention, the annual event dedicated to pop-culture trends and youth culture, including movies, anime, videogames and comics.

    Obsidian’s Chris Avellone (founder); Josh Sawyer (lead designer, NWN2); and Tramell Issac (lead artist, NWN2) will speak at this year’s A-Kon and provide convention-goers with insight into Neverwinter Nights 2. Obsidian team members will also discuss the internal workings of a game studio, as well as offer suggestions on how to start a career in game development.
