I was just wondering what mods people play oblivion with. There's tonnes out there and I've only d/l a few so far. A few of the ones I saw as being great:

    Khajiit Night Eye Toggle
Makes the innate Khajiit night vision spell thing into a toggle.

    BTMod
Changes the interface to allow more items to be displayed in the inventory. pretty much changes all of the TAB accessed stuff to make it better for PC's

    "FIXED" MAX CARRYING CAPACITY
Ok, this one's a bit of a cheat, but the weight allocation was driving me crazy with all my alchemical gear and ingredience. Makes the strength multiplier way higher for determining the amount of stuff you can carry

    QUEST AWARD LEVELING
This makes your quest items level up with you. So if you did a quest that rewards you with say a sword of +5 fire damage if you are level 4 or below but a sword of +8 fire damage if you do it at level 5-9 and did the quest at level 3, then when you get to lvl 5 the +5 sword will be replaced with the +8 one.

    Qarls Texture Pack 3

But only if you've got a ninja machine. I tell you I can't bear to play it without this anymore, can't describe how good the game looks now. Also francesco's levelling mod now at 4.2b i believe, makes the shoddy levelling system a thing of the past

    Here's some for you...
-Frostcrag Spire: You get a mages tower in the mountains

-Horse Armour Pack: you can guess what this one does. Gives one of your horses armour.

-Magic Tomes: Creates books that teach you one random leveled spell when you read them. Can only be found in loot.

I have more but I can't think of them right now.

@Sarevok: Yep, its Oscuro. Minor typo! :)

And I second it, OOO v1.3 is a FANTASTIC mod!! It totally rebalances the entire game and gets rid of that irritating level scaling Oblivion employs. Further more, it sets level based requirements for many quests out there, ramps up the difficulty of the main quest and nerfs random NPCs who aren't supposed to be overly powerful (bandits decked out in Glass Armor using Daedric weapons being an example!)

Haven't tried the obscuro Overhaul mod yet, might give that a try on my next run. For now, i have all official Bethesda plugins, including the addons Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. Furthermore i use the Extreme Marksman mod, which is comparable with the Fletchershop mod from Morrowind (extremely deadly and/or explosive arrows), a mod that increases my carrying ability, a mod that gives me a few potions that instantly cure vampirism, and a few extra residences across the map.
