I was just wondering if anyone believes that the novint falcon (search on google) could be of any use in RPGs and actually make the immersion better or if that it will just make the gameplay tedious. I can see use for it in first person RPGs (wielding the device as a sword) but since I prefer games in which a party is created (and even better, turn based) I fail to see a good use for it. Sure it can be used as a "magic wand" or sword even in those cases but there is no need to react fast to situations in turn based combat. Also can it be used in a smart way for dialogues? Does the extra dimension when solving puzzles add something to the experience.

    Anyone that has any thoughts?
