[IMG] I started out playing the game thinking I should go to the Government district and pay the cowled wizards 5000 gp so I could cast magic in the city without restriction. Now I've found out that I you don't pay for a license and just cast away, the wizards show up and you just have to fight them. Actually, fighting them sounds like a good idea - who likes 'em anyway? Does anyone know a console command to set a variable that says I HAVEN'T paid my 5000 gp (i.e. reversing my earlier decision)?

The Cowled Wizards are pretty difficult to kill, especially for low level party. If u haven't already - do Edwin's quest to get what I mean, and u will to have fight 3 of them at once. I've tried doing it once, but it wasn't worth it, they don't really have any items, just normal stuffs, and I think your reputation goes down. I guess go for it if you have evil party, I don't think there's a specific cheat to unpay the license, so just look in Shadowkeeper.

charming a guard and then watching from afar is a way to get rig of the c.wizards, (don't flame me too much on the tactics, I had do some magic against some vampires, and was just too busy (and wounded) to care for that fight)
