I don't really think Clive Owen's very suited to playing bond, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, Brosnan is getting a bit old for the role I guess, maybe he shouldn't have turned it down when it was first offered to him years ago, when he was doing Remington Steele. After all, the show was canned not long after he turned down Bond.

The Bond role requires a man in his early thirties. I mean James Bond is not a newbie agent. He's been around and that is why he knows about the shaken not stirred method. That is why he acts so quickly when he is getting lowerd into a pool of illtempered mutated seabass........

Actually, I heard somewhere that the 'shaken not stirred' method is actually not very good because it bruises the gin.

Does ANYBODY know the recipe? Maybe it's something Fleming took to the grave with him.

And does anyone else find it amusing that the son of arguably the best Bond played Bond's creator in a TV movie?

Isn't it just a vodka martini made with 3 gins, 1 vodka, dash of vermouth, shaken with ice? I didn't think there was anything secret about it?

Sean's son Jason played Ian Fleming in 1990's "The Secert Life Of Ian Fleming" (aka Spymaker in some countries)

Well, if it's done shaken, not stirred by a female bartender....

I rthink I just realized whom I'd love to see as Bond: Jack Davenport.

(And no, it's not just because I think he's got a sever case of the looks, either....)

In my opinion, were Davenport to become Bond, he'd be more in the Roger Moore style of things. Or words to that effect anyway.

Elf With A Bow would not make a good bond!

to be honest i've never seen this clive owen bloke before.... but eric bana would have been my choice, he pulled of a decent performance in Troy, and his role as Chopper is just brilliant... i think the two show he has flexibility.

and Zurga, if that image is real, the next film may be very interesting with Kevin Smith writing the screenplay.
