Hey, I apologize if this is a commonly beaten topic, but I couldn't find any reference to it. I was hoping you guys could help me out.

Pre-patched ToEE works for me albeit with a few bugs (the "looting" bug is the most annoying), but I am able to play it. However, when I install any patches I get an error that says "Please insert the Temple of Elemental Evil Play Disc." The disc is in, but it simply won't detect it (clicking "retry" just repeats the message). I've even tried installing it on two different computers and have ended up with the same problem.

I'm running Windows XP Media Edition and have installed both Patch 2 and 3 (the error occurs with just patch 2 as well). The other computer I tried is running Windows XP Professional and I used the same patches.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Has anyone come up with a fix?

    Thanks in advance.
