I thought only the Asimar, Tielfling, Grey Dwarf, Drow, and Deep Gnome had ECL penalties. Moon and Wild elves did NOT.
Do you have a mod that changes this?

Difficulty Class, the value you need to beat on a roll to succeed. You roll a D20 (20-sided die) and add any modifiers (which can be negative), typically a stat modifier and a skill or saving throw or some other number.
A reflex save with a DC 15 means you need to roll a 15 or better with 1d20 + DEXterity modifier + your reflex saving throw bonus to succeed in the saving throw.

More detail can be found on page 63 of the manual, which should be on the CD and might also be in the game directory (sorry, the old computer's turned off at the moment, I can't check), and can also be downloaded from Sorcerer's Place.

    I find this:
"Miscellaneous modifiers include racial bonuses and armor check penalties, among others."

Are there additional racial modifiers (e.g. to DC for a spellcaster) that aren't documented in the manual or in the in-game info?

I think some from P&P listed in the manual might not have been implemented, but I can't recall for sure.

I have a stickied topic on the potential mods you could use. If you don't read it, just remember not to install randomized item component of Ease-of-use, because it mixes around vital quest items as well, and will make your game unplayable!

Yeah, I got that message before I installed, no problem.

Another question: Is there any way I can tell the game to NOT automatically turn Party AI back on when I load up the game?
