New Avatar System

    [​IMG] Tal is working on implementing a new avatar system for everyone. It will be up "semi-soon" he says. ;) So be patient.

    After this is finished, there will also be some custom avatars available to a select few. These people will be able to choose their own avatar, within reason. Choose something from one of the games we cover on the site. And remember that it needs to look good and show up well against the blue background. Also consider a title to go with your avatar, to be printed underneath.

    The people who are eligible for these custom avatars are as follows:

    Admin and Moderators (of course)

    Everyone who ever contributed something that Tal posted on the site

    Everyone who ever bought anything from the Amazon links on the site

    I second the baove. Plus, I have had stuff posted by Tal here and have brough a few things via Sorcerer's at Amazon. Hooray, I guess that means I can chose a thingy.

    Not quite clear what the options are though. Are we talking in game models like were being used previously or portrait shots? Looking at Tal's test page:

    I guess it is an ingame model plus a 1-liner. That being so, Please can I have Morte with the line 'Polish me nicely'

    I was about to post a question, good thing I am moving slow this morning. :)

    If you plan on giving custom avatars to anyone who has ever bought anything from the amazon links on the site, how can you confirm that they did actually buy something through that link?

    I am honest, I have not yet purchased something through the links. But I will shortly. . . .
