    Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context.     How come everyone at OE speaks german perfectly?
    Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut, but I know how large the German-speaking RPG population is. I think a little effort goes a long way.

    Chouette! Here's some random comments:

    shot 1
    It's funny seeing that the "Unknown Speaker: More of them! They must be killed!" issue returning in NWN2.
    It doesn't look like shadows are turned on.
    No anti-aliasing on those shots, but whatever.
    The map shows the facing of your companions as well.
    I worry a little about long area names not fitting in the map box.

    The robe on the right has some clipping issues.
    The shelf has a funny red mark.

    It's neat seeing ceilings.
    The character's equipment looks pretty cool, with separate belts, armor pieces, etc.

    Pretty spell effects. I'm wondering how the spiral emitter is animated.

    Nice shader effect on the central character.
    The weapon trails still seem fairly angular.
    The funny red mark is a red "1". It's the floating text for minus one hit point.

    When the game comes out, will we move back?
    Im really getting sick of the publisher bashing. Just because people were told not to take shots at each other does not mean your given a free pass to take shots anywhere. Consider this everyone's second and last warning to clean it up. I dont want to start handing out "time out" slips but I will if I have to.

    As for the issue of the future of the NWN2 forums. All I can really say at this time is that It's a complicated topic that everyone involved has a vested interest in for a variety of different reasons. I cant really say what will happen in the future with the NWN2/D&D forums because I dont know. Is it being discussed, yes of course.

    All I can say is that regardless what happens we'll do our best to continue to support the community wherever they congregate. So for now just let this issue go and lets not dwell on it. Because if or when anything changes, trust me, we'll let you.
