    The lead actor was Ronny Cox -- who played in Beverly Hills Cop, Robocop, Total Recall and has a recurring role on SG-1. In this series he was George Apple, a man who moved his family from 'the city' to Appleton, Iowa (a town his family founded and he was raised in).

    The daughter in this series was originally one actress, then changed to Kristy McNichol after Kristy had played a supporting character in a previous episode. Kristy went on the star in another, more famous, series and became a teen idol.

    The series was crap and only lasted one year.

    Well, it was about the Apple family and the word Apple is in the title -- close, but not quite.

    Apple's Way was little too obscure...

    This is a very old variety-type show for kids. They used to have mini-series shorts in the show (10 minutes each -- lasting for weeks): a kid that could read minds, mystery about stolen gold, etc.

    "Why? Because we like you!"

    Each day had it's own theme. And Tuesday was guest star day....
