Most Missed NPC of all Time.

We've all played Many Many games.. And most of these have had memorable Non Player Characters..

Some were near, some dear. And others were incredibly fun to watch.. Who was Your Favorite NPC?

I WIll have to go with the combo of
Minsc and Boo!

I miss the evil NPC's mostly.

There is one replica when Minsc is delighted with the reputation of the group in BG1:
"Camaraderie, adventure, and steel on steel. The stuff of Legend! Right, Boo?"

Aaaaah it surely rocks!

 

hmm... there's a whole bunch in the Final Fantasy series. Sephiroth was so cool in the flashback, really missed having his powers. Aeris was dearly missed too. I really liked Palom and Poram too, and was crushed when they sacrificed themselves.

Dekar was VERY memorable in Lufia 2, so was Drizzt in Menzoberranzan (first time I "met" him)

 

I've got to agree with blog, Dekar just was plain cool

Edwin was so evil you've just gotta like him.

Seamon havaerian, when he is around something is bound to happen (most likely to you)

 

Probably Minsc. After him, Edwina.

 

Hah, difficult to say... Jaheira if IE games NPCs concerned, Kayleessa (IIRC the name) from Severed Hand in IWD1 if non-joinable IE ones included. However the one that I miss the most is one that I intended to create for BG2. Contrary to my previous expectations BG2 modding is not becoming popular and neither is BG2 ever-alive. Due to the specific team-play model NWN isn't really a good base. Time will show. At worst she'll end up in some adventure or story.

there is NEVER anybody I don't like in a game! Yes I develop a deep running hatred for some people (mostly enemies though) but I still like everyone, I can't havea favourite

 

Oh, tough choices. So many great NPCs from so many games. From the BG series, Viconia , Edwin/Edwina, Minsc, Jaheira. Or maybe Larrel from IWD. Princess Ruto from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. But of all time? Probably Goris the Scholar from Fallout 2.

That girl in Unreal 2.. Gah, what was here name? She died and I nearly cried

 

Is that from BG2? In BG1 it goes:

"Magic is impressive, but now, Minsc leads! Swords for everyone!"

 

I nearly cried when I finished BG2 cause I didn't want to lose Aerie.
But now, I wish I could take Vicionia into real life.

Minsc and Boo ALWAYS AND FOREVER ! ! !

 

I really liked Minsc, "Jump on my sword evil, I won't be so gentle!"

And Jaheira, just for the interesting romance.

 

It seems all my favorite NPC's have come from the BG series:

1) Minsc and Boo (could anyone else be #1?)

2) Xan - "The sun shines and I am amazed we see another day!"

3) Viconia - She's just a hottie!

4) Khalid - Sure, he's a whiner, but I liked him!

5) Xzar: "Stop Touching Me!"

 

Yeah, I also noticed that most people picked NPC's from BG. But what do you expect from a post in SP?

That's why I forced myself to add a few other games in (see my first post in this thread). I really do think this topic has the potential to cover a broad scope of games.
