I know that mordy swords (cant spell the whole word so sorry) are very powerful and can basically make all monsters in the game very easy to kill with a couple of them, but the question i am wondering is how do YOU kill them and also i am wondering if there are any mages in the game who do use them. I found out one person so far and that is the Mad Priest person who is in the docks and he uses them if you have Improved Battles mod cause that improves him and yes anymore people you know of and any tips on how to kill the so-called 'invunerable' sword???

The fight with the Githyanki above the five flaggons often results in the summonation of a mordekenian sword. I tend to shut the door and wait 'till it's time is up. But then....I'm a coward. :heh: I haven't come across a spell effect yet that kills them, but the wand of cloudkill might.

Actually, 'Deathcloud' and 'Death Spell' are supposed to kill ANY summoned creature on the spot, so consider using those. Good thing that every AI mage has only one of those ;)

Can't remember that liches would had ever used them against me -but who uses Mordenkainen's Swords -immune to weapons- instead of skeleton warriors -immune to magic- anyway? :D (Against magic-users, I mean.)

Liches definatly use them because they mess up my cheesey 'polymorph into a mustard jelly and wait until the spell caster has run out of spells' trick. I have to change back and fire a skull trap and then change back before I get the middle finger of death :D

A lot of modders making "Improved Fight" mods like to use them. There's no regular enemy in the unmodded game that uses them.

The Ravager summons half a dozen Bone Blades which are similar to Mordenkainen's Swords aren't they?

I don't think they are the same as Mordenkainen's Swords because they seem to do a lot more damage than Mordenkainen's Swords do...but then, it could just be me.

Bone swords are a lot more damaging than mordy swords are. They also have a lot more resistances.

Exactly...hence, I don't think Bone Blades and Mordenkainen's Swords are the same thing.

@Takara: I thought Mordenkainen's Swords were immune to everything there was except for Death Spell...and of course the usual Web, Hold etc.

What additional spells are Bone Blades immune to?
