    Point? Well, you get to kill a couple of relatively easy monsters for good exp and you get a piece of armor for a reward. ;)

    [IMG] There are a lot of excellent treasures in the Spellhold Maze. Most of which require you to kill some beasties first! :)

    You need to offer it something first. Didn't you find some big shiny gems that don't fit in your gem bag elsewhere in the maze?

    Those would be the ones. IIRC, you should find a total of 4 such gems.

    Are you sure? I'm pretty sure there are 4. I could be confusing it with something else, but I'm pretty sure that there are 4.

    Those creatures are resistant to magic. The Pit Fiend requires - at least - a +3 weapon to do any damage. There is a spell that lowers magic resistance and is one of the most important spells in the game. Use that spell on any monster like this and your fighters will hack them to little monster bits.

    No, you can't go back into Spellhold, EVER, and consult your manual about the Monk question...see if his fists are +3 yet. If not, go pick up some weapon and wield that.

    Big Guy,
    The +2 full plate is some of the best armour in the game, try CLUAConsoling it in.

    First of all, the Doomplate is +3 PLATE mail... and it's far from the best in the game.

    @Big Guy... (getting the console)

    This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "baldur.ini" file in the game folder. Add the line "Debug Mode=1" under the "[Program Options]" heading. Begin game play and press [Ctrl] + [Space] to display the console window. Type one of the following case-sensitive codes, press [Enter], then press [Ctrl] + [Space] to close the console window and activate the corresponding cheat function.

    Doomplate +3 is PLAT12

    The console can be used to summon in anything from NPC's to Items. Get ShadowKeeper to help you with all the names in order to summon stuff. Everything has a code that the game uses when it's loading items, places, NPC's and anything else.

    Assuming that Big Guy is soloing a monk (which he seems to be doing), does he really NEED it after all?
