    It may go bad but I think, balanced out, it'll be for the best.

    I generally think it is a better thing for these nations to have democratic governments that treat there people as if they matter.


    Now it is possible some groups may undercut the revolutions and either rise to power or keep power in spite of being not so democratic in themselves but this is still a chance at positive change.

    In Egypt I would worry about people who were power and corruption in the shadows and maybe some of the Islamic radicals. But I'll point out the revolutions happened with radicals coming late. They may try to grab power after the fact but it doesn't look like it. I'm at least as worried about what powers behind the scenes do.

    But overall, I'd say the revolts look more positive than negative with hopefully more positive (helping rather than suppressing people) to come.

    I dont agree that democracy is such a great thing, granted the idea is good, just communism is good in theory, but democracy appeals to human greed too, our politicians are so scared of losing their jobs that they are unable to run the country properly, they are simply pussies who exist to simply keep voters happy, and the country suffers for it....

    democracy isnt needed to treat people like they matter, there must be a better answer.
