I just found out from my friend that konami is going to remake the first metal gear solid exclusively for the game cube!!!!! That really pisses me off because I really don't like that system......Hopefully, they will remake it for the PS2. But it should be really good....there giving it all the stuff in MGS 2 and MGS 2: Substance, so it should be good, suposing it comes out for a decent system.....

[IMG] I was watching Tech TV's Extended Play and they showed footage of the NEXT MGS game. MGS3: Snake Eater. It shows Snake sneaking through a swamp. My guess it chronicles his events in Viet Nam.

On the remake for MGS1, sure it would be cool but I've already played that game 20 times, how much better can it get? On MGS3 it's already been proven that it is a sequel to MGS2 not a prequel otherwise it would not be called MGS3. And even in those parts where it looks like nam due to the weaponry and such those are flash backs where you play as either big boss or snake, not confirmed but that is most likely the truth...

What's the problem? You have it on PS1 anyway, which should work just fine with PS2. Or are you really so (I'll spare the word) that you'd rather take the completely new game for GC gamers away just to get the graphics a bit better for your PS2? Talk about shallow..

Not that I care, as I have neither. I just don't see the point with remakes to platforms that support the old format 100% to begin with.

Unless of course MGS is one of the rare exceptions that don't work on PS2 at all.
