[IMG] I haven't seen the movie "300" which was the movie this parody was based on. Meet The Spartans is an unusual movie, to say the least. Corny would be an understatement. Although I'm embarassed to admit this, I did find it kind of entertaining.

You could I suppose. It depends on how much you like blood and guts and tragedy I guess. I personally chose not to watch 300. I prefer my blood and guts mixed with fictional monsters and having the good guy escape. You probably will get the jist of 300 if you watch Meet the Spartens.

Just remember my warning !!! PURE CHEESE

Considering the fact that I HATED 300 probably means that I'm not exactly going to like the ****house parody of it either.

A lot of people seemed to enjoy it though :S

I enjoyed "300" for what it was -- a ridiculous gorefest with really cool imagery and some great one liners. I have yet to see "Meet the Spartans" because my Better Half doesn't like that sort of thing. Just to freak some of you out, though, there's ANOTHER one of these cheap things coming down the pike -- I just saw the advertisement for "Superhero Movie" on the weekend.

May God have mercy on us all ;)

I saw Epic Movie, and it just flat out sucked. I have no desire to see 'Meet the Spartans' or 'Superhero Movie'.

'Not Another Teen Movie' was probably the last funny movie made in this genre... :bad: :rolling:

Meet the Spartans... I have absolutely NO desire to watch this whatsoever. Not my humour at all. I'm told that the trailer contain the best bits of the film, but when I see the trailer on TV I just feel irritated that such a poor effort of a film should be allowed to reach the public domain. What a horrible race we are to create such rubbish.
