It's called Game Maker 4. I've been useing it for about a year now. I'm not saying I'm good at it. Anyways if you want to make your own game this is the best in my oppion. Cheak it out. I think that any of you who like to play RGP's might try and make one. I have been tring for awile but help is needed. Some of you more tallented people who have a grasp of scripting or draging and droping might have fun....and possably share their game with the rest of us? :D

I'm pretty stuck with my ideas of making a PHP RPG, so I'll leave that alone :p .

Sounds nice, i'm downloading it. Some years me and a friend of mine tried to make a text adventure. But as he is a man, he always wanted to save the world, and so we got stuck in the storyline. :p

[IMG] Making games would be excellent! I always wanted to make a BG 2 mod. But I wouldn't mess with scripting - I'd rather meddle with the design and the art...

Programmers can do the real work... :D

Mollusken, just make a shot'em up game if it so please's you:)

Scripting is hard for me. Infact the whole thing execpt for drawing is complacated. So I might ask for help....maybe.... :p Any ways I've also found some great games and examples made with GM. I have a 3D shoot'em up game but it's pretty crapy. Have fun, and if you have any games you would like to share or help scripting anything I know a few things.

Looked like visual basic to me. And i think it's easier for me to use VB instead. But i won't make any RPG's just some fun crap. But it's nice having found resources for sounds and gifs.

You'd need a text based maker thing. Try - http://www.adrift.org.uk/

I used it for a little while but couldn't come up with any good ideas to make a MUD about.

[IMG] I can't get it to work. When I run the game it just comes up with a white square in the middle of a black screen!
