Magic saddle for 3.5?

    Has anything like this been printed by anyone? I'm not sure how to tweak it if at all. I'll certainly take suggestions :1eye:

    both rider and mount share effects.

    If the rider drinks a potion both the rider and mount get half the effect. Same for spells or other effects generated by whatever means. For example, if the rider casts a fireball the mount breaths a fireball both doing half of the damage rolled and they can be split up to 2 separate targets or both targeting the same one.

    If the one gets poisoned the other must save as normal even if the other didn't get poisoned.

    Both rider and mount must be touching the saddle to get the shared effect even if the mount is dragging the rider with the rider's foot stuck in the stirrup.

    While some effects can be beneficial, such as a potion of healing, some things can be very detrimental. For example, a fireball that hit's the mount and rider. They both take their normal damage and then take the half the amount of damage the other one took as well. Saves apply as normal.

    If either the mount or the rider some how lose an appendage the other doesn't lose one as well. Instead the damage is calculated as normal for the appendage lost and then that amount of damage is applied to the other, mount or rider.
