    Lunar Remastered Collection Features Detailed

In a new blog post on PlayStation.com, GungHo Online Entertainment producer Matthias Pergams provided some extra details on the upcoming Lunar Remastered Collection. The bundle contains remasters of Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete and will release on April 18, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch (with support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S).

The collection will include a variety of quality-of-life features, including an adjustable Battle Speed-Up option in both games, a toggleable unified inventory system for the first game, and customisable character AI behavior for the first game's battles. It will also include "Remastered Mode" and "Classic Mode" for both games. Remastered Mode features remastered graphics with updated in-game effects, UI, animated cutscenes, bromides (in-game collectible cards), and more, as well as a new widescreen aspect ratio. Meanwhile, Classic Mode features the original graphics, including a CRT filter. The collection will also include a brand-new English voice cast. Many members of the original development staff, including the original composer, scenario writer, and character designer were consulted on the remaster, with character designer Toshiyuki Kubooka providing three new pieces of key artwork.
