Someone here a year or so ago posted a link to this webcomic, and now I'm hooked. Today's sent me over the edge. It's not funny unless you have seen the really silly / fun commercial for Discovery Channel that features this song. If you have seen the commercial, check out the comic here.

I haven't seen the commercial (or maybe I have, but it's not ringing any bells right now :p ) but this comic is pretty good.

So far: "...fellow that tackled the dragon." is my favourite line.

    EDIT:

although "For pony!" does have its merrits too... :D

Lore, I think you live in Europe, right? Do you guys get the Discovery Channel there? If so, then you might see this commercial -- it starts out with two astronauts looking at earth and the one says Richard's first line -- then all sorts of people from around the world start singing the song, including hosts of the various shows on Discovery (my favorite is when the Mythbusters show up).

Do most people know the song? I used to sing it at camp. All together now:

BOOM dee ah da, Boom dee ah da, Boom dee ah da, Boom dee eh!:thumb::happy:

Yeah, I'm in Europe and I get Discovery channel. Mostly I just watch the Mythbusters, though.:)

Is this the commercial you had in mind, LKD? (I see now why the comic page is hillarious...)

    Quite catchy... :shake:
