Just finished the whole saga (same character the whole time!) and was wondering where a few items were located.

I never found the Belt of Inertial Barrier, Runehammer, Staff of the Magi, Ring of Gaxx, and Bow of Gesen. Thanks. ;)

I'll say where each item is, but since I'm not sure just how much of the game you've uncovered, I'm going to err on the side of assuming you haven't discovered or done it yet.

    Belt of Inertial Barrier *
First, you must help the town of Trademeet against both the Shadow Druids, and later the Dao Genies. Once you've been commemorated as Heroes of Trademeet, look around in the market square on the south side of town. A merchant who looks like a nobleman will now sell his wares, including the Belt of Inertial Barrier. You may also find a few other things to your liking and worth buying.

    Staff of the Magi *
In the Bridge District, there is a building on the south side and in the middle. There are both a west door and an east door. Both doors are locked and trapped. The Twisted Rune cult is through the east door, but you need at least one Rogue Stone to be able to pass through the door. I won't spoil anything for you, but the Staff of the Magi is as powerful as the name makes it sounds. Appropriately, the battle to earn the staff is going to be a tough one, so make sure you can handle it first.

    Rune Hammer *
I'm surprised you missed this one. Simply loot Yaga-Shura's body for it, along with a couple of other goodies.

    Gesen Bow *
The String of the Gesen Bow is found in the second level of the Spellhold Asylum. It is in a chest in the room at the north end of the level, guarded by four Clay Golems.
The Shaft of the Gesen Bow is in the Bridge District. You have to solve the Bridge District Murder Mystery, and then you'll find the Shaft in the suspect's "home".
Conlan, the smithy in the Docks District, can put both together for the complete Gesen Bow.

    Ring of Gaxx *
*** This one is a bit complicated and I don't want to give too much away ***
In the Docks District, there's a door in between the Sea Bounty Tavern and the Mae'Var Guildhall that is both trapped and locked. Go through the door and to the basement. A voice in the crypt tells you what it wants. As for what it wants, you'll have to do a little more searching around the city. Once you give it what it wants, you're in for quite the battle and may end up putting another post up. Once you do defeat it, it leaves behind the Ring of Gaxx.

You think that is bad? Somehow during Watcher's Keep I dropped the Purifer and was never able to find it. :)

Well, I didn't mean bad, merely surprised.

Of course, I've played the game several times over and I occassionally forget something that I know is there but at the moment I'm so anxiously looking forward to this Dragon battle or this cutscene, etc.

    Hope it helps,

    Beren
