Not enough good armours, and no bullets to find in the dungeons.
At the end, I would have liked the possibility to pick up the twins' weapons.

    yes portraits are very good

    -
    painful puzzle quests

    no romance (group story)

and same - as in every infinity/frp game: no sense of life in game (like old Utima
    s)

graphics, especially the improved drawings of spells.
    more races.
    features and skills.
    no race or class restrictions.
    no alignment check.

    dislikes:
    =========
only 16 ability points to distribute during character creation.
skill upgrading scheme, i ended up putting skill points into skill i don't need just to be able to level up.
    kits are too few.
casting/dexterity check for armor/shield. this is probably because i'm still trying to figure out how to compute it's properties. this may probably move to "likes" in the future.

    -New Spell Icons
-Errand Missions (which most likely will turn into dislike in the future)
-Engine in general, very nostalgic :)
-The fact that sometimes simple packs of orcs with a shaman can rip me apart.

    Dislikes:
-Overwhelming amount of skills and feats in the beginning.
-How very quickly spellcasters bite the dust in the beginning. (Though my Dwarven Battleguard of Tempus can even tank reasonably, Wizards die really easy.)
-The placement of the portraits on the mainscreen. It takes some getting used to, I usually don't see when a char is near death.
-Not gaining a point in Bastard Swords automatically at the beginning with the Fighterclasses.
-How one of the voices is done by the same person who did BG2's Jan Janssen. It's not really nice to have your 2handed Axe wielding Aasimar Paladin sound like a gnomish Illusionist/Thief :p

Incredible amount of melee combat without many wizard duels
Some spells are weaker than before
    Lack of party interaction

    For the record:

Mazes and "Trials of Passage" are the poor-white-trash method of increasing the difficultly of a game, and subsequently lengthening it's play time.

    That is all.

The game is to easy in normal mode and wizards are to powerfull. In normal mode fighters, paladins and such can be more usefull but once you get 9th lv. spells they have only one task: keep the enemy busy while mage is casting!!!

    -third edition rules
-no more battles where all I had to do is spend all of my spells to stop the opponents protective spells and then attack him
    -difficulty of the game
    -errands and role-playing stuff
-nice clues that help you solve interesting puzzles

    Dislikes:
-Character animations have not improved at all
-They could have made the characters in advance (as with baldurs gate) and when they joined the group we would get to distribute their stats skill points and feats instead of creating characters that act like every other party member
    -too short
-there are some tactics that almost always work
-In heart of fury mode you can't make it withouth at least two mages, whilst the fighters grow less and less useful
-Only one sneak attack per opponent, which means rogues pretty much suck
