    Understatement!

Your dead relative sits up and asks for a glass of water and it's just "quite some surprise" !??

A glass of water - was he diagnosed as having died of thirst? :p

If the doctors had checked the electric activity in his brain the day before, he probably wouldn't have been dead :p . You're not totally dead before you're braindead.

They'll should have gone to another doctor, for a second opinion after the doctor told he was dead. You just can't be certain of anything these days.

Sounds like someone's malpractice insurance premiums are going to increase.

I'm not dead, but I'm still braindead!

My mother says things like that happen when people go into a coma and are pronounced dead

Well following my theories and beliefs (refer to some of my famous posts) I must say one way to check if he's living is to get the blokes wife, ask everyone to let her be ... alone with the corpse and see of her 'love' and ever lasting 'devotion' can cause a few ... 'miracles' ... say ... not only the bloke will be raised from the dead.

Just my theory of course. :D

Actually Sir Yerril, it is much more likely to be a vampire. Look past the lies and see that he realy wanted BLOOD!

Seems to me that this is another scam. People don't readily accept facts like death. They should have made the doctor do a second check to make sure.

    Makes me think:
In Africa some people were stung/bitten by a poisonous snake and 'died'. After some research the poison would get the victem in a too deep kinda sleep and they seemed dead. People broke open the coffins of the burried people who 'died' by the poison and found the dead ones on hands and knees, trying to break open their own coffins.
Must have been quite scary, if you ask me....speaking of claustrophobia :D

    So here is a tip:
Dont use poisons. Try the Tiny-bits-and-pieces-tactics for a more garanteed death. A crematorium will do...
